Throughout the summer, mental health support is available for our students, courtesy of our YCDSB psychologists and social workers. Typically, support services do not extend over the summer months. This is a highly unique opportunity where one-time only funding is being provided as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the unprecedented times in which we live.

Recent events in Canada and the United States have ignited discussion and action focused on the experiences of anti-Black racism. The work needed to dismantle anti-Black racism is complicated, and differentiated depending on our own identities. It will require us to be committed to supporting each other and holding each other accountable.
